RED BUFFALO MEDIA
Setting yourself in a prime position on the most popular search engine in the world is no easy task. Simple? Sure, but definitely not easy. I mean, if you aren't on page 1 of Google, are you really being seen? Chances are very low if you ask us. That is where we come in. Think of being on page 1 as being at home. We all love our home. Its safe, its comfortable, and homes typically have a nice solid foundation. That is basically the same thing as being on page 1. Safe, comfortable, and solid as a rock.
SEO is only one slice of that tasty Google cake. The other part is Ad Words. Google has a very impressive advertising platform where you can pay to be seen for certain keyword terms in a certain radius or city. For example; lets say you want to appear for "Oklahoma City Plumber" and you haven't quite got the organic results that you crave. So you turn to ad words and you pay to show up whenever someone Googles that phrase.
Ad Words are great because they allow you to be seen at the very top where the ad sites are located all while we are working on building a foundation for you website and its organic search results. You can run ad words for a day or two or for an entire month, its really totally up to you and your budget. Now we would be lying to you if we said Adwords we cut and dry. So we feel obligated to discuss a couple pros and cons with Adwords.
Pros: They help expose your business without having the organic reach that you need to be number 1 on Google.
Pros: Google typically offers some type of coupon code to reduce the cost on your Adwords ($100 off on $150 spend)
Pros: The Adwords dashboard keeps everything nice and neat for easy reporting and analytics
Cons: They are expensive for some keywords. Depending on what you want to rank for you might end up spending most of your ad budget in a week
Cons: Not all users will click on an ad site. Google users are conditioned to know that the listings at the top in Green that say "ad" aren't as relevant as the ones at the top organically

At the end of the day getting you business exposure to as many clients as possible is the most important thing here and if that means spending a little cheddar cheese on Adwords then so be it. Once your site gets ranked organically you can either run Adwords for new keywords that you aren't ranked for yet or you can just cut it altogether and focus your spend on other things. The choice is all yours. Just like with anything, the internet has lots of algorithms and nuances to understand and we really dedicate ourselves to understanding and grabbing the bull by the horns. If this all seems confusing that's okay, give us a call and let us take care of everything from A to Z.
